my life unfolds
like an art film
in black and white
a moment seems like eternity
and I don’t wish it to end
caught in the spotlight
of the present
like an animal, i keep still
the next moment, unknown
it is liberating
this not knowing
it allows me to travel light
to drink deep of this moment
