Insight of the day

I have come to realise that burdening others with my expectations not only enchains them and leads to disappointment for me, it enchains me even more. By not having expectations of people I acknowledge that they have every liberty to be themselves, and not to be the kind of person I want them to be. It is very highly liberating. (And of course highly recommeneded :)
